While in Chicago, Punky, like his mommy did in her younger years, likes to wait for Grandpa Ed to come home from work. So he waits near the corner of the cul-de-sac and waits for Grandpa’s car to come home. Then Grandpa lets him “drive” to the house.

Each Sunday night, we are parked in front of the television to watch Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Punky pretends he is Ty Pennington. (Note the hammer in his jeans!) He stands the entire show and chants out Ty’s lines during the show.

We took Punky to see how maple syrup was made today. After the exhibit, the kids have a play area to play while parents chat. Punky is always shy around other kids, so I had to sit near him while he was building his house!

I did this layout during spring break. I love the simplicity of it as well as the message to Punky when he gets older!
