Grandma’s Helpers
This was taken last week, Punky and Lukey helped Grandma get lunch ready.
Gus’ Diner
Every time that we leave Chicago, Punky goes to breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa at Gus’ Diner for Mickey Mouse pancakes the morning of his departure. We were to fly home that afternoon, so when we arrived at the emergency room, Punky whispered, “Mama, are we at Gus’ now?” I just melted right there!
On Monday morning, we went to Gus’ Diner to celebrate Punky’s release and our departure. Gus gave Punky a hat and a high-five for being such a great patient and a super customer!
A kiss from Mama!

We missed our flight back to Chicago. Punky is in the hospital. Click here to read more!
Simple toys
We visited Aunt Mabel and Uncle Jerome in Redwood Falls over the weekend. We had such a great visit!
Punky loved their Cuckoo clock, which was like Grandpa Kenny’s! So, Aunt Mabel asked Punky to help her wind it.
Punky was thrilled!
He then found some beads and hung them from the side of their dining room chair, and when he pulled on them, he decided they made the same noise as when he wound the clock. This fascinated him for quite some time!
Below is Mabel standing by Punky as he explains his bead set-up.

Another Book!

I finished another Valentine book for my little nephews from Punky. I love the colors!
