My mom always gives the girls in our family Amaryllis bulbs to plant when we are all together at Thanksgiving time. This year, it seemed like it took a bit more time for mine to grow and bloom. It could have been the freezing cold environment this winter! Our house was quite chilly last month with the subzero temperatures! So, it finally bloomed this week…..with LOTS of blooms! It’s gorgeous! Exactly what one needs in the dead of winter… hope!
